National Gathering Videos

Hello, good members!

As you know, last Saturday, October 24, CGSAC had its first ever Zoom Gathering and AGM. Members and interested people from across the country were able to share and connect during this half-day online event.

Our Keynote speaker, Ann Garrido led us to think about the hurdles catechists face in remaining in CGS as well as some ideas for overcoming these obstacles. You can view her engaging talk on our Resources page. In small groups we brainstormed and came up with the hurdles we think are most significant for Canadian catechists, and creative lists of solutions. These lists have been posted in the Forum under General Discussions. Please take a look and comment. We hope that this constructive dialogue will continue and bear fruit! Also in the Forum, you will be able to view a brief video of our personal favourite moments of the Gathering.

We were not able to record the Zoom Breakout sessions. However, as a follow-up to Dorothy Burns' Breakout Session, please keep a lookout for an upcoming announcement regarding an online book study on Ann Garrido's book, Redeeming Conflict. You will also find the songs from the Breakout Session, "Singing for the Terrified-reprise" (aka "Make a joyful NOISE unto the Lord") by scrolling down the Resources page.

The Annual General Meeting can be viewed in its entirety on the Board Reports page.

Finally, the brief Board Reports video summary shown at the AGM can be seen on the Canadian Association page.

If you are not a member and yet you find yourself enticed by all these viewing options, you may find that joining our membership is an easy and affordable option ;) Please follow this link.

God bless you all!
